Ubirr Rock is a very scenic place. One has to go for a hot walk, but it's worth it. From there one can see pretty much all the different environments of Kakadu National Park: the paperbark forrests, the now dry flood plains and the rocks. If you can't do a flight, go here - it's as close to a flight as one can get.
And: if you want to see a Tasman Tiger, there's one close to the rock.
