![]() Always a wonderful sight - lotos flowers growing in Yellow Waters, Kakadu National Park. One can easily understand they are a symbol of purity in buddism. Growing in the mud, leaves and blossoms grow into the sun always staying clean and immaculate. The boat guide told us we were lucky to enjoy their beauty again. Years before the wild running cattle was a big environmental problem. Australia's grounds and vegetation are not used to hoofes, it suffers and dies from the hard steps. Now cattle and buffaloos are nearly exterminated in the National Park and the native vegetation comes up again. |
