![]() The Magpie (Goose) is a very common bird in the Northern Territories. We saw them all over the place. They tend to spend the days next the water and the nights somewhere inland on a tree. One cannot see it very well on these pictures, but the Magpies are a very strange type of geese. They have quite long legs with their toes only semi-webbed - unlike most other water fowl.
